2026 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier I National Championships

The MN Girls HS Elite League had an excellent showing at the 2026 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier I National Championships. At the 19U Division, MN Elite Vegas - Tradition took home the winning medals after a dominant week. They went undefeated during their championship run.

Coming into the tournament as #2 seed, the team won all three of their qualification games. They want on to beat Massachusetts Spitfires in the quarterfinals 1-0, and Assabet Valley (MA) in the semifinals 7-3. 

They faced the #1 seed Shattuck-St. Mary's (MN) in the championship game. The MN Girls HS Elite League rivals had previously faced each other multiple times in the Fall. But this game was a rematch of the MN District State Championship game, which MN Elite Vegas - Tradition had won to secure their bid. The National Championship would go into overtime and MN Elite Vegas - Tradition won 4-3.

MN Elite SILVER - MSP falls short in the 2026 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier I 16U semifinals

At the 16U Division, MN Elite Silver - MSP won all three qualifying games. They beat team North Dakota 12-1 in the quarterfinal game, before ultimately falling short of a title with an overtime loss in the semifinals. 

MN Elite BLUE - NABC Stopped in the 2026 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier I 16U Quarterfinals

Also at the 16U Division, MN Elite Blue - NABC won 2-out-of-3 qualifying games, before a loss in the quarterfinals stopped their championship run.
